Luciano Pavarotti (12 Oktober 1935 - 6 September 2007)
Pavarotti, one of the greatest opera singer died Thursday (6/9) at home in Modena. He was 71.
On July 2006, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and required emergency surgery to remove the tumor. The Maestro fought a long battle against the pancreatic cancer which eventually took his life.
His last performance in front of public was happened at Winter Olympic in Turin, February 2006. It was 5 months before the surgery.
Goodbye Luciano Pavarotti, you will always be in our hearts.
