I found Avot Media website, it’s a cool website for your mobile entertainment. With Avot Media you can watch videos from online video sharing sites such as YouTube, Daily Motion, Google Videos, and a lot more online video sharing sites. And this service is available for free.? If you want to add new functionality to your mobile gadget, you need to download and install the software. Don’t worry, the installation is simple. What you need to do is point your mobile browser to Avot Mobile Site to download the software. The download process took several minutes using my iPAQ hw6920 and XL data connection. Once the client is downloaded to your gadget, it will install the software automatically.

Although this service is free, but you have to know one thing before you begin to search and watch your favorite videos from YouTube or other video sharing sites. This service requires data connection, so you have to pay for data connection from your cellular service. In
Ok, back to the topic. Avot Media do not use any video transcoding which will cause lower video quality. They instead use direct streaming. FYI, this service supports EDGE, 3G, and EV-DO connection. But, I think the quality will vary, depending on the quality of your data connection. I have tried using slower connection from 64kbps Unlimited Wireless Centrin. But the playback was lagging. So, if you have slow data connection you will see some lagging playback. I’m hoping that in the next release they will have option about the video quality where we can choose whether using direct streaming or video transcoding. So, users with slow data connection won’t experiencing some lagging or buffering in video playback.
They support over 70 different mobile phones, few of them are:

Wish they will support more devices in the future. And since this service only supports Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC and Smartphone mobile, I think it will be better if they support J2ME mobile, too.
Overall, I really love this service. With Avot mV player, you can search and watch any video that you want from YouTube, Daily Motion, Google Videos, and a lot more. So, if you want to have a media jukebox right on your mobile gadget for free, Avot Media service is the answer. But keep in mind that you still have to pay for the data connection. If you need more? information about this service, you can visit Avot Blog.
