Promosi internet gratis dari AXIS ini emang udah agak basi, tapi gak ada salahnya ngasih "free review" buat AXIS yang udah bantuin gue di masa2 sulit ini. Gara2nya karena gue lagi bete ama si Centrin dodol yang Unlimited Wirelessnya lemot banget setelah gak bisa make jaringan 3G XL sejak pertengahan Maret kemaren. Awal2 peralihan sih gue masih bisa tolerir dapet kecepatan 4-5KB/detik. Yah cukup lah buat update2. Makanya niat gue buat berhenti di akhir Maret diurungkan. Tapi di bulan April ini, kecepatannya ngedrop abis, rata2 gue cuman dapet 2KB/detik. 
Padahal di daerah gue semua operator sinyal 3Gnya full termasuk operator baru kayak AXIS.
Kembali ke AXIS, waktu awal2 AXIS diluncurin di Bandung, gue beli 10 perdana yang harganya 6 ribu aja satunya. Kenapa beli 10? Karena ada internet gratis dengan kuota 100MB/bulan. Itu yang tertulis di brosurnya dan yang dijelasin customer servicenya ke gue. Tapi ternyata waktu gue cek menu *838# pilih info produk, terus pilih Akses Data, ada tulisan kalo akses data gratis tuh kuotanya 300MB/bulan. Gak tau mana yang bener, yang pasti perdana AXIS yang gue aktifin bulan Maret pas tadi gue coba buat browsing langsung ngabisin pulsa 6 ribunya. Sedangkan perdana AXIS yang baru gue aktifin walo udah download 200MB masih bisa dipake dan gak ngurangin pulsa. Yah sudahlah gak apa2 secara masih banyak perdana AXIS yang belum gue pake.
Kalo soal akses internet, hal yang paling kita tentunya kecepatan dong. Makanya gue tes pake speedtest.net dengan berbagai lokasi server. FYI, gue tes pake HP Motorola V3X dengan sinyal 3G AXIS Full dan ditesnya jam 2 pagi. Hasilnya kayak gini:
